Laurence Gomez's (Motion & Graphic Designer) Biography
Laurence started working as a graphic designer in 1995 for the MacNeil Lehrer Newshour followed by stints at CBS, VH-1 & Lifetime Network. He worked at Fox 5 (local news) for nearly a decade before moving to NBC Universal in 2005. At MSNBC Larry designed:
- ‘Verdict with Dan Abrams’, Broadcast Designers Association Nominee; ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’, Broadcast Designers Association Bronze Award 09; ‘Hardball with Chris Matthews’; ‘The Dr. Nancy Show’; ‘Tip of the Spear’, 'Chris Engel reporting from Afghanistan' among other projects.
Larry has collaborated with Medianetwork on Prysmian, Avtec, Inc., World Information Transfer, The South Carolina Ballet and The Parliament of the World's Religions videos.
- Larry Attended life drawing classes at age 12 and attended SUNY Purchase College (photography & visual art). MFA and Scholarship Recipient, Brooklyn College, 1992.

- Videography and Interviews for a Marine Corps helicopter squadron reunion, HMM 263, held in South Carolina
- Alan was awarded Second Prize at Earthvision Santa Cruz, CA International Video & Film Festival for his video about Global Warming in Asia for the UN Environment Program in Manila. This production was selected for screening at Columbia's Colossal Film Crawl in Columbia and at Piccolo Spoleto
- Videography and editing of "The Way Home", (below, left) a the national video for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the oldest Irish-American organization founded in 1836
